{"id":24,"date":"2016-05-12T16:27:54","date_gmt":"2016-05-12T14:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ivanbruna.it\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2021-03-23T18:37:21","modified_gmt":"2021-03-23T17:37:21","slug":"laboratorio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ivanbruna.it\/en\/laboratorio\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Woods and materials<\/h2>\n<p>All the materials are selected in order to offer the musician the best sound result possible.<br \/>\nI first choose the woods for their physical properties, checking their specific weight, grain direction, elasticity, and sound conductivity.<br \/>\nAfter drying the wood for the necessary period, I then carry out a further selection choosing the best pieces on a functional and aesthetic level.<br \/>\nWhen the time of the final choice comes, I also take into consideration my own sensitivity, instinct and experience; these traits have become crucial to be able to offer the best woods for the project I want to realize and for the musician\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<h2>Construction techniques <\/h2>\n<p>People mistakenly think that a machine-made product, or even one made through a software, is more precise than a handmade one.<br \/>\nConsidering large numbers this could be true; however, in the artisanal world using a material so uneven and irregular such as wood the key factor is the control of the product.<br \/>\nTherefore, to meet the personal needs of the clients, every single piece of my guitars is thought and designed to be part of a specific guitar.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_683\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-683\" style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-683\" src=\"https:\/\/ivanbruna.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ivan_bruna-piegatura_fasce.jpg\" alt=\"Bending of the sides of the guitar\" width=\"740\" height=\"493\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-683\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bending of the sides of the guitar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>During the making I continuously check the various guitar pieces in order to guarantee the utmost precision and durability.
